Question: What is the Free Quality School Education programme?
Answer: It is one that provides a positive learning environment for all Sierra Leonean children of school going age in Government and Government Assisted schools, from nursery to SSS and in approved vocational institutions below WASSCE level. It aims to provide free access to education under the supervision of trained and qualified teachers with the right facilities and equipment.

Question: What is in the package?
Answer: 1. Free admission and no school fees. 2. Payment of public examination fees for the National Primary School Examination (NPSE); the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE); the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ). The package also aims at improving the conditions of non-formal learning centres. 3. Provision of Math, English, Science & Social Studies/Civic Education for Primary and JSS; Math and English textbooks for SSS and teaching and learning materials; pens, pencils and exercise books for Primary Schools.

Question: Who will be entitled to this package?
Answer: Children from nursery( Pre-Primary) through SSS and Technical Vocational Institutions below the WASSCE level, in all Government and Government Assisted School for a start. Children in non-approved schools will benefit as soon as those schools are approved by the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) so parents should patiently wait until their chIldren's school is approved and should not transfer them to another school.
